Black Prison Population Disproportionate In Wisconsin???? Gee, Let's Play The Race Card
Yep, here we go again.
Because blacks make up 6% of the Wisconsin population and 46% of the Wisconsin prison population, it must be racism.
Eugene Kane, Wisconsin's biggest racist, wrote an article in the Journal Sentinel about it

Answer : Guess what dumbass, they are perpetrating more violent crimes that DESERVE jail time. Do you honestly believe that white men get let off for the same crime?? The cops catch a white guy robbing a liquor store and say "gee Ralph, have to let this one go, he isn't black".

Answer : Then start addressing the damn problem in your community and stop making excuses for them.

Answer : This is exactly what I'm talking about. If this is the mindset of the young black men in Wisconsin, how exactly is it the white man's fault again? This bullshit thug mentality should be your target, not how the white man is keeping you down. Of course if you actually did something to change things you wouldn't have a job anymore would you.

Who is Eugene, except for a racist? Is he a politician? Is he someone who has influence to change the community?
Unfortunatley he is a regular editorialist in the main newspaper here in Milwaukee and his racism has the vehicle to reach millions.
Can you research real information on the population and crime rates? Then you could send him a letter regarding this article. Maybe it would even get printed!
Tried that, he's narrowminded and ignores any facts that don't support his own agenda.

I don't know who you people are, but thank God you exist! I got po'ed reading Pacman Jones' stupid comment about how black men get arrested for not doing anything and decided to look at the population numbers to see if it's as bad as I think it is. How can anyone look at the stats and blame the "racist" criminal justice system? How can they not see that blacks are waaay fucked up? It's like saying, "We can't pass any standardized tests, so there must be something wrong with the tests!" Unbelievable.
No one said "something instinctual about a black man's violence or drug habits"...and no one said "the man couldn't speak"....and disagreeing with his opinion has nothing to do with being a "hypocrite".

It is not the white mans fault, it is not Americas fault, it is no ones fault but the individual who commits the damn crime.

Poverty, skin color and stress does not create animals and lead them to crime.

There are millions of people of all races who grew up poor and in a ghetto environment that did NOT make the CHOICE to lead a life of crime. 1Look at the animals around you. Men commit more violent crimes than females because our male ancestors were brutal, evolving to hunt and destroy; our female ancestors on the other hand evolved to create and nurture though I must add viciously defend as well.
2The white man is more likely to become a serial killer because of his Machiavellian ancestry. Dominated at first by the Romans the tribes of Europe combined. With the fall of Rome the cutthroat grab for power that spawned modern history and scarred the phycology of Westerners began. European/Western society is oppressive by nature, as such it is more likely to produce highly oppressive individuals.
3Your last question can only be answered generally. It is only their environment, or sum of all individual aspects of life, that deludes ghetto Blacks. For me the fact that kids look up to inmates is indicative that there is something wrong with "the system". Children are perfect indicators for this because they will shape themselves after their environment.
I am not playing the "blame game", I am simply noticing a truth backed by statistics then coming to a logical conclusion about it's general cause: society. If you disagree with me I claim that the real reason why this racial situation is even an issue is out of selfishness; people would not give a thought to the matter if they weren't being adversely effected. Couldn't this lack of compassion cause major phycological deterioration if it was directed towards you and your family-is that not in itself proof of a racially biased system?
I agree with you that every person is responsible for his/her self- it would be ludicrous to think otherwise. I feel that we are not as opposed as I originally thought. However, you are a rational most definitely sane person. I do not know how you were raised and correct me if I am wrong but I am betting it was not as bad as a poverty stricken negro. Try reading some of this editorialists work at www.jsonline.com and you will see what I mean. EVERYTHING is the fault of racism against the black population. He perpetuates this attitude in the majority of his columns.
No, I did not grow up in a poverty stricken area but a lower middle class area. I committed my share of crimes and did time for them. I however made the decision to pull myself out of that life and make a life.
There are always options, even to the poverty stricken, that do not include blaming it on racism, which again was the point of the post.
First of all regarding the previous comment about compassion, I never implied compassion towards convicts, although one could argue against that, I merely am giving an example of some of the phycological obstacles that contribute to an otherwise normal person growing up to become a inmate.
You are right there are always options available, and people should be responsible for their own actions. With that said however the issue is not black or white (no pun intended) there is middle ground-you cannot justly shift all the blame onto the individual. If there is no fruit on the trees, how can you not understand one monkey killing and eating another out of hunger, especially if the monkeys options were kill or be killed. Another thing, you might claim that there is always some fruit on the tree but it is so high and sparse that it is not enough to live on. Additionally as you yourself said most people dont take their opportunities until they are confined in a prison cell-to become good they must first become another statistic that Eugene will use. I have a question regarding your opinion on Malcolm X. If you have read his autobiography then you know that he most definitely reformed in prison, but what do you think of what he became? It is not as though he simply accepted a normal lifestyle, he devoted his life to changing society because he realized how much of a detrimental effect society had on his people. For you what implications does that show?
Again, the context of the post was that this is not due to racial biased.

In conclusion, nothing in my original post has changed. Eugene Kane is a racist and blames everyone for the percentage of black criminals except for them.
