Some Parents Need Their Ass Beat

Reading the news I came across a story of a coffee shop called A Taste Of Heaven in Chicago owned by Dan McCauley. Seems he has been having problems with children yelling, running around, sprawling in the aisles and hurling themselves into display cases.
So he posts a sign saying "Children of all ages have to behave and use their indoor voices when coming to A Taste of Heaven."
This has caused an outbreak of distaste from parents who take offense at the implied criticism of how they handle their children. Do a google search for his name or read one of the stories here.
Let me share some of the comments the parents have made:

"I love people who don't have children who tell you how to parent," said Alison Miller, 35, a psychologist, corporate coach and mother of two. "I'd love for him to be responsible for three children for the next year and see if he can control the volume of their voices every minute of the day."

You don't need to have children to see that they are out of control Alison, you need to have common sense. If you had any you would see that noone is asking anyone to control the volume of a childs voice every minute of every day, only control the actions of your child in a public restaraunt when they are obviously way out of control. Why do people change what is being asked of them and go to extremes when they know they are wrong?

Laura Brauer, 40, said "I think that the mothers who allow their kids to run around and scream, that's wrong, but kids scream and there is nothing you can do about it. What are we supposed to do, not enjoy ourselves at a cafe?"

There is nothing you can do about a kid screaming? So your kids are in charge Laura? Bullshit. There is something you can do about a kid screaming, try parenting. To answer your question, yes Laura you are not suppose to enjoy yourself at a cafe at the expense of everyone else in it. Your suppose to be the one in charge, not your children.

Kim Cavitt said. "You go to a coffee shop or a bakery for a rest, to relax, and that you would have to worry the whole time about your child doing something that children do - really what they're saying is they don't welcome children, they want the child to behave like an adult."

Hey Kim, is it really restfull and relaxing at that coffee shop with your kids running around doing whatever they want and annoying everyone else that paid their money to rest and relax? It isn't something "children do" as you put it. It's something lazy parents ALLOW their children to do. No one expects your children to act like adults, we expect YOU to act like an adult.

What the hell is wrong with these people?? It's too much to ask to have some control over your children? They let them run and do whatever they want and then wonder why they have no self discipline when they get to be teenagers. They wonder why they grow up thinking they can do whatever they want? They wonder why they aren't ready for the real world when they get older and society doesn't cater to them like Mommy did and let them do what they want? Get off your lazy ass and be a parent. Teach them right from wrong. Teach them discipline. Prepare them for the real world instead of letting it slap them in the face.

Obviously this burns my ass to see people like this. My wife and I get people who will say to us "you shouldn't be so strict on him" and then these are the same idiots that turn around when we are in public and say "it's great how he is so well behaved". Get a freakin clue people, he wasn't born that way and if we weren't strict he WOULDN"T BE, he would be like yours. Besides, I don't consider it strict to expect a child to do what he is told. I was under the assumption thats how it was suppose to work.

We have had our runins with unruly and unmonitored children in public places and even in our own home. In public there isn't alot you can do about it without causing a problem and anyone that knows me knows I would never be confrontational...hehe..ok, maybe I have once or twice. But in our own home I refuse not to be. We lost a couple that was a friend of ours when we lived in Memphis for just that reason. They were over playing cards, their kids and ours were watching movies and playing. Their kids decided to play on the pooltable whipping the balls around. I told them we didn't allow kids to play on the table and they told them to stop. They stopped for about 10 minutes and then resumed in force. The parents looked and just shook their heads and said "we just can't control them". So I did. I told them to knock it off and get away from the table...they did. The parents looked at me but didn't say anything. 10 minutes later they were back at it and again the parents just shrugged their shoulders. I had had enough and got up, walked over to the kids and in my Dad voice told them to go in the other room and sit down and they will not touch my pooltable again. Their Dad started to say something and I cut him off and explained to him that it was our home and if he wasn't going to be a parent and control his children, I was. He thought better of pushing farther, got his family and left.

There is no reason other than plain laziness to let your kids run you. You are doing a disservice to them, you and everyone around you by letting them run wild and do whatever the hell they want to do. Your doing nothing but setting them up for a rude awakening. If you aren't able to be a parent and show your kids BOTH discipline and love then don't be so selfish as to have them.

Alderman McGee Strikes Another Blow To Keep Racism Alive

Since when can elected officials call people faggots in public? Since when can they talk about killing cops on the radio? Since when can they say nigger on the radio? Since when can they stand outside Blockbuster late at night and yell "Fuck you" to the store employees? Since when can they do all this with NO retaliation or responsibility? Since it was Alderman McGee. I guess he is special.

Am sure you have all heard about the most recent escapade of this asshole since its been all over the news and the papers. Let's take a look at it....

Tuesday night, Nov. 8th, about 10:30pm the Wauwatosa Police Dept received a phone call from the Manager of the Blockbuster store at 6102 W. North Ave reporting a suspicious car in the parking lot after closing time. The employees told police that the car, which they knew wasn't there to pick up any of the workers, had been there for 15 to 20 minutes. So far this sounds like a pretty reasonable thing to do.

Approximatley 7 minutes later the police arrived and the vehicle was still sitting there. In the police report the officers state that when they pulled up behind the vehicle there were two individuals sitting inside. Now anyone that says that a car sitting in a parking lot of a closed business, late at night, directly before the employee's are going to leave that business, is not suspicious and warrant a call to the police is either kidding themselves or have never had to close a store and walk out into a parking lot where two people are sitting in a car that shouldn't be there. Of course because the people happened to be black, it must be racist. Don't take into account that at night through the windows and into the car windows they couldn't see who or how many people were in the vehicle....and don't take into account that the store manager that made the call was a black man. If you take any of that into account it would ruin McGee's racist card playing.

So the officers approach the vehicle, explain the situation to McGee, he say's he understands, they tell him to move along, get back into their squad car and start to drive away. That's the end right? Only if your a rational person. If your a racist little bully like McGee, you get BACK out of your car and yell "FUCK YOU FOR CALLING THE POLICE ON ME!!" up to the employees in the store window. Gee, there is an elected official to be proud of.
Now the police are REQUIRED by law to address this situation because it is textbook disorderly conduct. If you don't know the disorderly conduct statute, haven't bothered to read the law or do any research whatsoever, shut up untill you check the law and know what your talking about. I have read it, and what he did is EXACTLY what the law describes.

So the officers pull him over as he drives away, ask him to exit his car, tell him he is under arrest for disorderly conduct and attempt to cuff him. If this ever happens to you, trust me, don't resist. Cops do this every day and have the experience that small resistance turns into large resistance if not stopped immediatley, and trust me, they will stop you immediatley. I don't give a shit what color your skin is, if you resist arrest, your face will quickly be introduced to the hood of their car. Of course because he was black, this was also racist. Yes, he resisted. Yes, his face met the car. Yes, he tried to pull the "do you know who i am" card. They weren't impressed. He was transferred to the police station, processed like anyone else and released.

I have heard alot of crap about how if he was white he wouldn't have been arrested for something as small as disorderly conduct. Bullshit. Read these current police reports of others that have been arrested recently for the same crime. Now, what race were these people? Gee, guess what, it doesn't say because they obviously didn't try to blame their fate on their skin color. God forbid McGee take responsibility for his own actions instead of playing the race card.

McGee's Statement on this incident conveniently leaves out any action on his part that even remotley may have added to the escalation of this. He even refers to his getting out of his car and yelling "Fuck you for calling the police on me" as "voicing my displeasure". Give me a break and at least be man enough to not try and minimize what you did and said. What a punk move to be so proud of what you stand for and be so quick to back down from what you do and say. Pathetic.

So Thursday the 10th, McGee and his supporters hold a rally in front of the police station. Supporters for the police department also show up. Some white IDIOT pushes one of McGee's supporters, causing a brawl. This guy's actions are equally as bad as McGee's were! As much as I can't stand that racist, he has the right to a peaceful gathering to speak his mind in public. I find it ironic and amusing that he was arrested for disorderly conduct.

The supporters of McGee were equally as juevenile with their signs. They actually had signs with racial slurs like "Crackers Think They Got The Edge....". Most of their signs spoke of Cracker, Whitey and Redneck instead of their issue with unfairness to them. I guess their issue of racism only interests them when it applies to their race? How can you hold a racist sign and complain of racism?? What do you think would happen if the other side had a sign that said "Niggers Shouldn't Play The Race Card Every Time They Get In Trouble"?? There is no difference in that and what the McGee supporters did. Why is it ok for them?

Alderman McGee broke the law and then once again played the race card for his own personal gain. He cannot afford to let racism die down in Milwaukee because if he does his supporters are going to realize that he has nothing else to offer them outside of his arrogant bullshit yelling about race and he will be out of a job. The black people of this city should be ashamed to have someone who is a racist, bigoted and self-serving schoolyard bully as this boy is. And no, I don't call him a boy because he is black. I call him a boy because his actions put him in that maturity category. He is a disgrace to the black community and the city of Milwaukee as a whole.

Bush Gives Medal Of Freedom To A Draft Dodger? WTF George??

Ok, for those of you unfamiliar with what The Medal Of Freedom Award is let me explain it to you and give you the history.

The Medal of Freedom was established by President Truman in 1945 to recognize civilians for their efforts during World War II. The award was reinstated by President Kennedy in 1963 to honor distinguished service. The Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian award, recognizes exceptional meritorious service. Get the picture?

Now, another little bit of history.
Anyone remember back in 1967 when Muhammad Ali decided to be a draft dodger and refused induction into the U.S. Army by being a conscientious objector? His current comments on his dodging the draft are, "I tell them I didn't dodge the draft, I just avoided it," he says. "Vietnam turned out to be wrong and I ended up right... all you people who say I was wrong, I ended up right. The war was bad, I ended up right. I'm still the winner." Sound like someone who served his country as a civilian with honor?

Well put them together because Bush has awarded The Medal Of Freedom Award to Muhammad Ali. Don't get me wrong, I still support Bush but he really blew it this time. How can you put someone like Muhammad Ali in the same company as previous winners of this prestigious award? Might as well give Mike Tyson a good citizenship award.

Bush just took away any real meaning that award had by giving it to a draft dodger in addition to insulting those who died because they didn't.

WARNING!!!! On Second Thought, Lets Not Warn Them...

This country has become overrun with stupidity and it is for sure that Wisconsin has no shortage. Don't beleive me? Go outside for a walk. Drive down the city streets. Watch the news. Hell, go sit at the mall and just watch and listen to people. Common sense is a thing of the past. Who's fault is it? Our own. We cater to it. We cause it. We accept it and we even let them sue if we don't warn them enough prior to their act of stupidity. So now we have rich stupid people. Thank God they don't have sense enough to do anything with it.

A simple two step fix.
1. Stop with the frivilous lawsuits for people being stupid.
2. Remove the warning labels from everything.

I'm serious. Enough with the warning labels. We will quickly weed out those who are too stupid to live and stop their gene pool within a few years. If you really have to have a warning label on a package of fish hooks that says harmfull if ingested, we don't need you. You are too stupid to live. The rest of us will be safer with you (like the rest of the fish that couln't figure it out) dead.
If BillyBob is enough of an idiot to put his hand under a running lawnmower to pick up his hat then my guess is he wouldn't be able to read that warning label in the first place, so lets get rid of them...and him.

Have you seen some of the ridiculous warning labels that are out there the company's have to put on their products to try and protect themselves from the stupid?

These are all from American made products:
  • A popular scooter for children that warns: “This product moves when used.”
  • An electric hand blender promoted for use in “blending, whipping, chopping and dicing,” that warns: “Never remove food or other items from the blades while the product is operating.”
  • A label on a baby stroller warns: “Remove child before folding
  • A household Rowenta iron warns users: “Never iron clothes while they are being worn”
  • A label on a Sears hair dryer reads, “Never use hair dryer while sleeping”
  • A warning on an electric drill made for carpenters cautions: “This product not intended for use as a dental drill.”
  • A smoke detector warns: “Do not use the Silence Feature in emergency situations. It will not extinguish a fire.”
  • A cardboard car sunshield that keeps sun off the dashboard warns, “Do not drive with sunshield in place”
  • A cartridge for a laser printer warns, “Do not eat toner”
  • A can of self-defense pepper spray warns users: “May irritate eyes”
  • A snowblower warns: “Do not use snowthrower on roof.”
  • A dishwasher carries this warning: “Do not allow children to play in the dishwasher.”
  • On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding "Product will be hot after heating."
  • On a string of Christmas lights "For indoor or outdoor use only."
  • On Sainsbury's peanuts "Warning: contains nuts."
  • On a child's Superman costume "Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly."
  • In the manual for a microwave oven "Do not use for drying pets."

AND MY PERSONAL FAVORITE::::::

The label on a bottle of drain cleaner warns: “If you do not understand, or cannot read, all directions, cautions and warnings, do not use this product.”

No more lawsuits + No more warning labels = No more stupid people.
